Using a prominent figure in my recent braid series, I combined her with a Negrito mask that is worn during a dance that is popular in Oaxaca. I went for a simpler design since it was my first attempt at woodblock relief printing. I did a variety of blue, orange, and red variations of this print.

Based off my personal interest in bulls, I created an abstract line drawing of a bull’s head with plants surounding it. Eventually evolved with tones using aquatint techniques, fun and interesting backgrounds with a toproll and chine colle. My personal favorite is the Fuck Ice chine colle version.

Using the Jaripeo events that take place in my parents’ town, I wanted to create a graphic travel poster, but still challenge myself with the type and making sure to close certain registration marks with silkscreen.
